Congressman Chris Cannon

I was stunned to hear Congressman Chris Cannon's take on the current D.C. scandal. Listen to it at the Nightside Project. Also in the segment are reactions from Senator Zell Miller, and Congressman Rob Bishop. I think the audio speaks for itself.

I've posted the audio clip here so you don't have to listen to the whole thing, and we can go back anytime and relish in the nostalgia of good ole' fashion bigotry - Utah style - long after the scourge that is Chris Cannon is wiped of the map.

Damn good reporting Ethan. Kinda like takin candy from a baby, huh? But don't get lazy. There will come a day when you won't be able to "get" gems (of bigotry) like that by simply asking a question.

I guess we can think that the good Congessman Bishop thinks it is OK to hide the fact that people like Mr I can write vile things to pages on the internet from the public in general. If he thinks things like that are OK what other things does he know and how many more underhanded things does he think he needs to hide? Those who hide crimes or foster the notion that is is OK for others to do it are equally guilty as those who commit crimes. For his support of those who did nothing to stop the man from Flordia he deserves to be voted out of office. Family values? my ass protect those in power at all costs is more the tune he seems to be singing. Kick him and the boom boom brother out of office they do not represent the values I want in Washington running the country. There are too many boozers and the like in charge of this country and its laws. God hepls those who help themselves unless they are too stupid to help themselves and then we get exactly what we deserve...the best government that money can buy..the only problem it is not the taxpayers money who is buying the government. The republicans want to strip you of your civil rights under the guise of security. The democrats want to give lawbreakers a free ride into this country. Where are the candidates that stand for the people of this country, the sovergnity of this country and the ideas that made this country great? What happened to the supporters of the middle class who foot the bill for this country and are being hosed by both parties?

News Flashes: "Seasoned Reporter Stunned At Congressman's Belief Kids Are Maturing Faster!!!" Hold on to your hats because "Cannon Believes Parents Should Protect Their Children: Give Them Training To Avoid Creeps" Or maybe this shocker, "Eighteen Year Olds May Be Capable of Playing Pranks".

What is truly amazing is how so much noteriety has come to Mr. Millard from an innocuous, on the spot, comment made by a well meaning congressman.

Look, I disagree that Cannon is well meaning. He said it was the kids fault.

I do agree that parents should teach their children how to deal with sickos like Foley (R-Fl).

Newsflash Anon, the problem with Republican leadership is that they point fingers at Democrats but never take responsibility for their own mistakes.

Cannon is unrepentant in everything he does. Everything.

This is just another example as to why he needs to go.

VOTE BURRIDGE!
