Congressman Guess Who

Before they seriously consider Governor Huntsman's plan to create four non- competitive districts for Utah, The Utah Legislature should consider the following: Governor Huntsman drew Congressman Matheson a much more liberal district. Some speculate whether the Congressman could be elected in such a district. Maybe he could, maybe he couldn't. You know what well- known liberal and Matheson foil could win in Governor Huntsman's new district? Here's a clue: He ran once before. Utah's Republican leadership needs to remember: The only thing worse than not getting what you want is getting what you want. I'm just sayin... that kind of irony is only funny to bloggers.

Ethan--

You should know better. Rocky couldn't get elected in that district. Not only has he thrown the entire Democratic party under the bus he is despised in West Valley, Holliday, Taylorsville, Summit County, Morgan County and 45% of Salt Lake.

Maybe this is the pay back for being an undercover Republican (listen to Nightside spin).

It would be the only way Anderson could have a chance.

A very slim chance.

This would be one of those times when I would almost rather vote for an bigot like LaVarr rather than this alternative.

I wonder if John Jacob is disappointed that he may not have a statewide seat to run for. However, he may not feel ready to run again so soon after his sulfur scare.

Rocky has sold out to the Republicans!

This charade is all about giving Rocky the possibility of stealing a seat while he dismantles the real Democratic Party.

To bad for Rocky, and the Utah Republicans. they will watch the fourth seat die before these traitors can get past second base.

I think that we are all missing the point. Look at who is drafting the district then look at their ambitions and their addresses. The picture starts to become clear.
