Man Of Honor

Senator Orrin Hatch won't bother campaigning, but he will raise cold cash during President Bush's visit. If he has any honor at all, Senator Hatch will walk out of his fundraiser and cut a check to LaVar Christensen for the full amount raised. We all know the Senator is at the end of his career. What happens to his money? This race couldn't provide more striking contrasts. Read why Pete Ashdown is a candidate with real honor

Pete Ashdown is a great man, and what he is doing with his "feed the hungry" dinner is one of the most humble acts of kindness and normality I have ever seen....and it is because of his character, that I will be voting for Pete Ashdown.

Hey famous handsome guy,

That seems real logical. Lets measure the effectiveness of future political representatives by the amount of money they contribute to the poor/homeless/disenfranchised.

Since Bill Gates gives millions away, should we just elect him instead? Or shouldn't we have just run Mother Theresa back in her hay-day?

I'm glad you only count for one vote.

the infamous isn't saying he is only voting for Pete Ashdown because he gave money to the poor/homeless/disenfranchised, he said it was because of his character. I think you would be hard pressed to find many people in Utah who don't vote for someone because of their character, or what they perceive as someone's character.

I just love it when politicians with mungo funds take advantage of unnecessary help.

Now, that all depends on what you mean by 'campaigning.' Although you haven't seen much public stuff going on, PermaHatch has already spent many times more cash 'campaigining' this year than Pete Ashdown will see run through his campaign this entire season.
