The Dark Side Of Utah Politics

When Utah's politicians spend their entire careers trading on their membership in the LDS Church, and posing for cameras at general conference. but have no problem bearing false witness lying using their position to enrich family members stealing Hooray for Utah's values!

The real shame is that the internals of both parties can and do have a tendancy to support this kind of candidate.

I find it shameful that candidates like Ashdown are the exception while it seems that candidates like Hatch are the rule.

If an honest man decides it's time to do something; what are the odds he will even make it through convention?

It's a sad sad thing. Our way of doing things is not sustainable, and it will cost us dearly in the end. It's not the republican form of government that's the problem, it's the lack of questioning of our official's and their parties' motives.

I agree with everything but the "stealing" part of the post. Since there is no evidence about who actually did this removal, you have no way of knowing if they are LDS, posing at General Conference, etc. etc. Maybe a better example of the stealing would be an article on the Leavitt's.

Our former governor deserves a spot on this list.

I'm still curious about how Republican signs mysteriously appeared in the same area. Last time I checked, we are talking about private property (homes and business), and wouldn't the owner have to approve any signs being in thier yard?

Lets face it, Pete is misleading us into thinking that all of sudden home owners awoke one morning and thier Ashdown sign was replace with a Republican sign. If anyone on this blog or elsewhere can confirm something like this happened, please step forward.
