Hi, I'm Nancy Workman

"Please, pay no attention to the fat, moustachioed bald man who is manipulating my mouth through the hole in my back- side!" Nancy Workman is distributing a letter of support for a "new downtown" for Salt Lake County. Whenever she shows up, I have a hard time keeping a straight face.

Her letter is fabulous. Do it for the kids I tell ya...stiff them out of the taxes that fund their educations. Sounds like a fine plan.

During the legislative session this year, Nancy Piece-of-Workman seemed to be following me. She gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Nancy doesn't do anything for the "children," .... but she'll do a hell of a lot for her own. Does that bratty, uni-brow daughter of hers have a job with Real or something??

The sad thing is that Nancy Workman has always been somebody's puppet. As critical as I was of her disability claim at the time, I actually pity Nancy Workman because I don't think she really comprehends to what extent she is used by the machine operators in the county -- folk like Gerrie Shaw, the power behind the mayor's throne for those dreadful four years.

But then how do you pity somebody who has more ill-gotten developer cash left over from her 2004 campaign account than most of us will ever stash away in a lifetime?

On the bright side, by the looks of the article this week on Corroon's high-flying approval ratings, it may well be a long time before the likes of Nancy and Gerrie get their fingers on the controls of county government again.

So it's all good, right?

I think Paul is on to something. Is Nancy's daughter working in Real's front office?
