Intern

In all my years, I've never been an intern. Until now. This week I began an internship at the Utah Senate that I hope will provide a lot of great material for SLCSpin as well as a good view of "The Process". So for the limited time in which I'll be a semi- insider, let me know if you have any burning questions about the Utah Senate, and I'll see what I can come up with. But I can't lobby.

Having walked down the intern road myself, I can tell you the best way to keep your boss happy is frequent runs to to Taco Bell.

Best of luck.

Why are are the legislators so eager to do the publics business behind closed doors? Why are there so many bills introduced to pad only the pockets of these people? Why is so much time wasted on bills that will be challenged in court. Why do some legislators think they are in charge of the morals and convictions of everyone?

I read in UPD that the people on the west side of the valley are afraid they are going to have to pay tolls on roads and those of us on the east side are not. Seems fair, sense the people on the east side are footing the bill for Granite School District and the education of kids on the west side. You want to pay as much property tax as I do then you can complain. Besides no one on the east side is dumb enough to want to drive on the west side. Want to compare the number of accidents on the west side to the east side?
