A Racially Divided Stadium

Racial harmony in SLCo demands the soccer stadium be built downtown. Real Salt Lake promised to cater to SLCo's Hispanic population. So why is RSL ready to plant itself right in the homeland of the anti- Hispanic frenzy that's parading around disguised as an immigration debate?

that's a fine question.

oh wait, no it's not. You already know the answer.

MONEY! MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY!!

not just stadium financing money, but all the money those rich east benchers will dump into various outgrowths of having soccer in their neighborhood.

It is true that it is money driven. Rich east benchers will dump money into the outgrowths, but when it comes right down to it they will not be attending the games.

It is a stadium in Sandy that will be filled with everyone but Sandy residents. They won't go. Then when the people are sick of driving to Sandy and dealing with the hell hole that it is, just to watch soccer, they will opt to stay home and watch it on T.V.
