Now that the reality of the stadium is coming out, the legislature seems to be sooooo helpful in arranging money, the price has increased and new funding mechanisms are availabe It's not too late to build the stadium downtown. We can. It wouldn't be hard. We can give RSL fans what they want, we can give owner Dave Checketts what he wants, we can give downtown something it desperately needs It wouldn't make a difference to Sandy City. They're building oversized retail parking lots as fast as their fat cat legs can run. The only people who would be upset are Councilman Randy Horiuchi Mayor Tom Dolan House Speaker Greg Curtis But you know what? They're all Yesterday's Men anyway. So who cares.

I want to know how you are going to make this happen? What is the plan? You have plenty of people behind you, but someone needs to take charge and coordinate.

Aren't you good friends with Eric Jergensen? Can he help?

What do we do? Let's get this done

Personally I really don't care where they build a stadium. My main complaint about this is that it should be built entirely with private funds.

I agree with Mark. Having said that - it is unlikely it will be built without public funds. In that case, Sandy should not get the benefit of the stadium after their shenanigans. If public funds can be used, then it should revert back to the original plan in Salt Lake.

You forgot two others...the only two Real fans in Sandy who really give a shit. Let's face it...Sandy isn't exactly the soccer capitol of Utah - in spite of the 1000's of soccer moms who live there.
