"Pom- Poms Not Bomb- Bombs"

During my rovings today at the legislature I met The Radical Cheerleaders. Two of the cheerleaders were people you may recognize. Green Jenni of Jen's Green Journal and Dee of Dee's Dotes. My wish for 2006: Someone start up a conservative cheerleading group and then film a political sequel to "Bring It On"

Hi Ethan -- I'm trying to imagine what a conservative cheerleading group would look like. I'm afraid my political biases are making those imaginings a bit unflattering . . .

It was fun meeting you today. I mentioned it in my blog as well. Good luck in your reporting!

Photos of the liberal cheerleading group (see Jen's and Dee's blogs) more or less approximated what I imagined any cheerleading group based on political orthodoxy would look like.

I must say after looking at the pictures of the "pom poms not bomb bombs" on their web site... I would be REALLY interested to see a liberal "Bring It On" remake with these gals! I think I already have the casting set too:

Radical Bonnie as Torrence
Radical Shea as Missy
and Radical Deanna as Isis

There you go... now, we just need the funding.
