House Minority Leader Ralph Becker endorsed Polly Hart in 2001. Now he's behind Councilman Eric Jergensen. I double dog dare Cliff Lyon to tell Minority Leader Becker he's part of a Mormon conspiracy to spread Republicanism. In fact, Cliff, I'll give you $50.00 if you video tape it. I'll give you $150.00 if you do it in front of either the Capitol Hill or Avenues Community Councils. I'll give you $1,000 if you say the same thing to Dallis Nordstrom. Don't know who she is? I'm not surprised.

I wonder if Becker's backing of Jergensen has anything to do with Becker's flirting with running for SLC mayor. For two reasons that would seem to make sense. One: get on Jergensen's good side to gain a footing with the council. Two: Crap on Rocky, because of Rocky and Jergensen's ongoing blood feud. Is Becker flirting with running for mayor? If not, disregard my last.

Very intriguing idea.

I hadn't heard the Mayor thing. I only know of the Senate thing.
I doubt the endorsement is about either of those things, however.
Councilman Jergensen and Rep. Becker have a long working history. They both report regularly to the community councils where Councilman Jergensen cut his teeth.
Basically, they have a history of collaboration. The endorsement is probably more of that than anything.

Ralph was gonna run for Senate until he had a heart-to-gayheart with Scott McCoy. I wouldn't be surprised if Ralph needed to channel his political energy elsewhere.

Becker is backing Jergensen because Jergensen is qualified to do the job.

Becker admitted making a mistake by endorsing Eric before the primary. No one knew Janneke would turn out to be a serious, articulate, experiened, contender.

"Mormon conspiracy to spread Republicanism."? Cearly, you have given this idea a lot of thought.

Is this an invention of yours, or is it an ongoing discussion in Budapest?

I think the answer deserves a top post with an inteligent descrption of this conspiracy. Does it explain democrat church members like Janneke?

I'll give you a thousand bucks if you can find a prominant democrat that endorsed Eric after the primary.

Ralph is committed now, and he is is a man of his word. That is why Jannke will work well with him.

Does House Minority Leader Ralph Becker know that anonymous commenters are putting words into his mouth?

If you're going to make comments like that, you'd better put a name to them.

So Rep. Becker knows who to call.

FYI: Dallis married a rich Mormon. She's raising her new child LDS and can't be trusted as a voice of the liberal, non-Mormon community anymore. It's interesting to see how easy it is to get some people to sell out.

I'm a prominant democrat, and I may help Ethan win your bet! Or, if you would rather, send $500.00 to the Ralph Becker for Mayor campaign. Either way, its money well spent.

Becker a party turncoat? So, like Rocky Anderson, then? And a pussy? Like Cliff and House Campaign spamming Ethan's Blog and pretending to be other people? Like that, Cliffy?
