Honor Our Veterans

Today is their day. Forma Line: "Veterans Day is a real holiday. It's about something. It has the weight of history behind it. It's significant." Beehive Donkey: "it is important to remember and honor the sacrifice and devotion of those who have worn our country's uniform, and who have lived up to an oath to defend her." Part of the Plan: "If you see a Vietnam vet today, shake his hand, give him a hug, buy him a drink and tell him you are grateful for his sacrifices. Then ask his forgiveness for the way he’s been treated."

The Utah Democratic Party had a press release today of a Veterans and Military Family Caucus. Why was Channel 5 the only station that cares about relavent issues in todays politics?

Love what Murtha says about the Dick Cheny...Murtha, a Marine intelligence officer in Vietnam, angrily shot back at Cheney: "I like guys who've never been there that criticize us who've been there. I like that. I like guys who got five deferments and never been there and send people to war, and then don't like to hear suggestions about what needs to be done."
